The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR and TKG 2003 (Telecommunications Law 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing regarding our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us via our online contact form or email, we will save the information you provide, in order to respond to your enquiry and to ask any necessary follow-up questions. The data you thereby provide will remain with us until you request that we delete it, revoke your consent to its storage, or until the reason for storing it no longer exists (for example, after your request has been processed). Mandatory statutory provisions – in particular, retention periods – remain unaffected.

Server log files

The website provider automatically collects and stores data in so-called server log files which your browser automatically sends to us. These are: the page visited (URL), the browser type/version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (the page visited previously), the host name/IP address of the accessing server, the time of the server query. This data cannot be attributed to specific persons without checking additional data sources. The data is not combined with other data sources. We use the server log files for the purpose of operating, securing and optimising our website. We do not analyse your data further, unless our website was used for illegal purposes. We reserve the right to check server log files later on in case of justified suspicions of illegal activities. These log files are stored for two weeks.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are stored on your device with the aid of your browser. They are not harmful. We use cookies to make our website more user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They allow us to recognise your browser on subsequent visits. If you do not want to accept cookies, you can set up your browser so that it informs you when cookies are being set and you can allow this only in individual cases. Disabling cookies may limit the functionality of our website.

Web analysis

Our website uses functions of the web analytics service Google Analytics (see below). For this purpose, cookies are used that enable an analysis of the use of the website by its users. The information that is thereby generated is transmitted to the provider's server and stored there. You can prevent this storage by setting up your browser to collect no cookies. We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement with the provider in this regard. Your IP address is recorded, but immediately pseudonymised (e.g. by deleting the last 8 bits). As a result, only an approximate localisation is possible. The relationship with the web analytics provider is based on standard contractual clauses/an adequacy decision by the European Commission (Privacy Shield). The data processing takes place on the basis of the legal regulations as set out by § 96 Para 3 TKG, as well as by Art. 6 Para 1 lit a (Consent) and/or lit f (Legitimate Interest) of the GDPR. Within the meaning of the GDPR (Legitimate Interest), our concern is the improvement of our offerings and our web presence. Because our users' privacy is important to us, all user data is pseudonymised. In accordance with the principles of data avoidance and data economy, personal data is stored only as long as necessary or as required by law (i.e. during the legal data retention period). Once the purpose of the information collected no longer exists or the data retention period ends, we block access to the data or delete it completely.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. Google Analytics uses 'cookies', text files that are stored on your computer. These enable an analysis of the use of this website. The information regarding the use of this website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google utilises this information to evaluate your use of our website. Google may transfer this information to third parties where applicable, provided that this is required by law or insofar as these third parties process this data on Google's behalf. Under no circumstances will Google associate your IP address (your individual Internet access) with any other Google data. You can prevent the installation of cookies by configuring your browser software accordingly; however, please note that if you do so, you may not be able to use all of this website's features to their fullest extent. By using this website, you consent to Google processing your personal data in the manner and for the purposes set out above.

Integration of services and third-party content

Our website sometimes includes content and services from other providers, e.g.: Maps from Google Maps, videos from YouTube or graphics/images from other websites. The transmission of the user's IP address is essential for the user's browser to be able to access and display these providers' data. Therefore, these providers (hereinafter referred to as 'third-party providers') identify the IP address of the respective user. Although we do our best to use only third-party providers who require IP addresses solely in order to deliver content, we have no control over whether they store these IP addresses or not. In that case, the processing is for statistical purposes, among other things. If we are aware that IP addresses are being stored, we shall inform our users about this.

Your rights

You have fundamental rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and opposition. If you believe that the processing of your data is violating data protection laws or that your data protection claims have been violated in some other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, that is the Datenschutzbehörde (Data Protection Authority).
